Mothers day 2012

Today started off great! Adam slept from 8-5 then went back to sleep until 630ish. I woke up to a BIG dr pepper and donuts( thank you Bryan) I haven't felt the best today so we stayed home from church, took naps and relaxed! We went to don and nancy house for dinner to celebrate mothers day, lylahs birthday and Kevin birthday. Fun relaxing day being a mom!

Easter Sunday

Easter was very busy for us this year. This was also the first year in 26 years that my dad and I didn't go to a sunrise service. Our day started at church at 930 then the kids and I came home for a 30 minute nap. As soon as Bryan got home at 1 we jumped in the car and went to his parents. We had lunch, an egg hunt, and hung out. Then at 330 we headed to my parents house where we ate, did an egg hunt and hung out. We got home that night about 9. Busy but fun day full of family and friends.

Another trip to the zoo

I will post about Easter I just need to get the pictures. Yesterday April 20th me, my sister, and rusty went to the zoo. We took Katelyn, Kelsey, Savannah, Adam, and a friend Shelby. We were not in a hurry and got to do whatever the kids wanted ( well what Katelyn said) here are a few pictures of my kids at the zoo.

Zoo Trip

Today we went to the zoo for one of our friends birthday parties. It was Kelsey and Adam's first trip and Rylee hasn't been for awhile. We got to feed the giraffe and see the 2 day old baby and we went to the bird show. On the way out we stopped at the elephants. It was a fun day.

Beach trip

For "spring break" I took the kids to Pismo for the night. We meet my friend Hollie and her two boys. We stayed at her trailer. I'll just say it was an adventure. We chased 5 kids around the beach, the park, the trailer and the outlets. I got maybe a total of 4 hours of sleep total between my 3 kids. But I made memories with my children and my friend and that is what is important. On the drive there the hood of my car wasn't latched all the way. That was scary! Rylee had to go potty so ALL of us had to go. We got there and went to the beach (Kelsey and Adam's first time). Came back had dinner from splash cafe then put the kids in the bed to watch a movie. Tuesday we took the kids to a park, had a "dirty bird" for lunch and a slurpie, then went to the outlets. Then we packed up and headed home. Fun trip!! Thanks Hollie for having us.

Family of 5

On March 2nd we welcomed our little boy into our family. Adam Jonathan Griffith was born at 12:45pm and was 8 lbs 11 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. He came real fast! My water was broken at 915am and I was hooked up to be induced. I was a 2 almost 3. I was allowed to get the epidural at 1115 (once the fluid was in me) by 1130 the epidural was in and by 1145 I could feel the baby moving down and every contraction. I was a 7 at this time. I wanted to push by noon but we had to wait until the Dr got there. I was in so much pain I didn't think I could wait, poor Bryan and my nurse, they were trying to get me to breath and I kept yelling at them. Then I would say I'm sorry. Finally my Dr. got there about 1230pm and Adam was born in 4 pushes. Here are some pictures of that day.Family of 5
