Gilroy gardens

On Wednesday I took the kids to Gilroy Gardens!! I took them by myself and had a wonderful time. They all listened and got along and had fun. We played in the water area for about 2 hours and then went on rides for about 3 hours. It was a fun but busy day! When daddy goes out of town we need to do something fun.

San Francisco 2015

This sunday and Monday Bryan and I headed to San Francisco. We dropped the kids off at my parents house and headed out. We were on our way to meet Bryan's family for lunch in San Francisco.
We had a wonderful lunch at Fishermans Grotto Bryan and I shared a carb sandwich and sole stuffed with crab with a lobster sauce, both were great and I couldn't pick a favorite.
After lunch we went up to Ghirardelli square for some ice cream. Nancy and Susan took a peddle taxi and the rest of us walked. We then went over and walked pier 39
It was a fun day. After dinner we went and hung out on the deck of the pool and visited it was a great day!! Monday morning Don, Nancy, and Alisha headed to the hospital. Nancy was having cancer removed from her good kidney ( the reason for going to San Francisco) Bryan and I got to sleep in and relax and then headed to the hospital after lunch. The surgery went great.. The dr was able to remove the mass and save 95% of her kidney. This was amazing as the dr from fresno said he would remove the whole kidney. God answers prayers and Nancy is doing great recovering.
Thanks to my mom, grandma, and Jon for taking care of my kids so we could be with family. You guys are great!!

Summer update

I really do want to blog more often. It is so easy to do while I am on my phone. So I hope that with Jayme getting a little bigger I will be able to a little more.. I know I've missed a lot. Jayme has cut her first teeth, she sleeps through the nigh( most of the time), she eats baby food, and rolls everywhere! She isn't crawling yet but who would when everyone brings you everything. I love her so much and can not imagine my life without her.. I have enjoyed being home this summer with all my kids, though stressful at times I love watching and pouring into them. We have had wonderful conversations and worked of behavior. Here is a summary of summer activities we have done. My mom and I took my kids to gilroy garden
We poured cement in our back yard
The girls had their dance recital
I celebrated my sister in law Alisha birthday on the town
Bryan  and I went to a U2 concert with Jon and Becca it was so much fun and my first time away from Jayme
At the beginning of June we got to be a part of John and Becca's wedding. We were so honored to watch them marry and be a part of it. They have been a wonderful example of a Christian relationship for our children to watch
Me and the kids spent 5 days down in San Diego with my sister. We hung out mostly just talking and letting the kids play. We did make it to the beach one day.
We came home and Bryan, Jon, and Wayne built the kids play ground
The whole family went to San Diego for the 4th of July and got to tour Rustys ship!! It was so much fun
The most recent activity was going camping at Santa Cruz. We went to the board walk and hiking and just hung out! It was a much needed relaxing trip.
It's been a great summer so far and I still have 4 more weeks off!!

It's a....

GIRL!!!! On Friday October 3rd 2014 at 11:52am we welcomed Jayme Ann Griffith into our family! Thursday night about 10pm I went into labor and ended up going into the hospital at 1:30am. Went from a 3 to a 4 in less than an hour with contractions every 3-5 mins. At 3:45am went up to labor and delivery. I got to a 5 and an epidural. Then things slowed down. They broke my water about 9 and she came with 3 pushes at 11:52am. I was so shocked it was a girl!! I really thought I was having a boy. I am over joyed with my princess! Recovery has been a little hard on me. I have been cramping and really swollen. She has been really easy for me, she eats good and sleeps ok. Only wakes up to eat or be changed. At the dr office she was back at birth weight at less than a week old. The other 3 have been a challenge but Bryan has been awesome and it helps they are at school/daycare during the day. Here are some pictures of Jayme.

11 days or less

Today marks 11 days until my due date!! I so want baby to come, I'm tired of being pregnant and just want to hold my little one! I've had a painful week but have had fun getting thing ready. My girlfriends of 20+ years gave me a little shower! Steph brought me coffee and a few baby things she is done with. My grandma and I went shopping and to lunch. Trying to pass time. I went to the dr Wednesday and I'm already dilated to a two. So at least the pain is doing something!

New addition to the family

Yes you read it right!! No not my baby:-) Bryan's brother got married last weekend. It was such a fun, beautiful wedding up at Hume Lake. My girls were flower girls ( along with Alisha's girls) and Adam was so cute. The Books and us rented a cabin for the weekend. We went up Friday for rehearsal, Bryan came down Saturday for the Fresno state game and my mom came up to help me with the kids. I could not have done it without her, she ironed, did hair, watched the kids, etc. It was a full weekend but I got to rest a little and enjoy the wedding.
Monday we got to have dinner with Bryan's cousin Del and his family. They are missionaries in Africa and are home for a few months since they just had their third baby boy. It was fun to hang out and see where God is using them.
This week I have been on an antibiotic and it has made me SO tired. I have finally been sleeping more than 2 hours at a time, some times only 3 hours, but ill take it. Napping a lot and cleaning when I can is my life right now. This weekend I've been having contractions and just feeling blah. Praying they are doing something. Really made me realize how close baby is to bring here. 3 weeks left!!
